Wigs Directory is a centralised directory, dedicated to making it easier to find wig specialists, services and suppliers of wigs, hairpieces, toppers, toupees, extensions, wig accessories and products in Australia.
Wigs Directory lists wig stores, suppliers, websites, salons, wig fitters and wig makers that stock everyday, realistic and medical wigs, as well as companies that sell fashion, theatre, cosplay, drag and transgender wigs, and fancy dress, costume and party wigs. This directory also dedicates pages to children/teens, men, etc., for easier searching.
We also have a dedicated ‘Resources’ page with brief descriptions and links to hair loss support groups, charities, cancer groups, alopecia associations and places you can donate hair, which is used to make wigs.
Wigs Directory includes wig specialists that also have a dedicated website. We have decided not to include those who only have social media accounts and no website.
The information is revised every 6 months.
Most wig salons, fitters and websites also include wig-related products such as wig care and cleaning products, wig grooming items, stands for storage, head nets, tapes and other accessories.
At this stage, we have not included services which stock only hair extensions. Saying this, many wig suppliers also stock hair extensions.
No, we have included professional businesses. However, we have not personally worked with all—or even most—of these establishments, so we cannot recommend any particular company.
Australia is the first country to be included. Singapore is soon to follow. Stay tuned for more countries to be added.
